We’re following a fire in Ray Brook which broke out along the tracks behind the Saranac Lake Golf Course. As of 8pm Saranac Lake Fire says the fire appears to be under control and fire departments from local area municipalities who provided mutual aid are beginning to return to their stations. VILLAGE GARAGE SALE – SARANAC LAKE

The Annual Village Wide Garage Sale is Saturday July 14th, 2012 from 8am until 5pm. It is hosted by the Saranac Lake Women’s Civic Chamber.

 Audio – 071212 – POLICE and FIRE – BITRHDAY CLUB

On Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 Plattsburgh City Police ticketed Tyler Brassard 22, ofEllenburgh CenterNY, for his connection to the early morning car accident that destroyed the Plattsburgh Public Library overnight book depository. During the investigation, Mr. Brassard was found to be operating his 2001 Ford Taurus at the time of the accident. Brassard told officers he fled from the scene because he was scared.  Brassard was charged with the following:  Driving wrong way on a one way street, Leaving the scene of a property damage accident, Reckless Driving (an unclassified misdemeanor) Speed not reasonable or prudent, and Driving on sidewalk.  Brassard was released on tickets scheduled to appear in Plattsburgh City Court on July 24th, 2012 at 8:30am.
