WNBZ – 071012 – POLICE and FireTupperLake’s Police  reports the arrest of 18 year old Christopher Theiman of TupperLakeon July 9th at about 8pm for harassment in the 2nd degree. Theman was taken into custody on Park Street, he was processed at the station and will reappear in Village court on July 30th -

Lake Placid’s Fire Department reports their response with 1 unit and 4 members to AMC Uihlein for a commercial fire alarm on Saturday July 7th at 3:52 am – A faulty detector turned out to be the cause of the alarm and it was taken out of service..

On Monday, July 9th at 9:15am The Lake Placid Fire Department responds to a report of a hot burning smell in the home at 12 station street. 17 memebrs responded to that alarm with one truck. A search of the home with a thermal imaging camera and a gas meter did not locate any problems.. 

The Lake Placid Fire Department secures the landing zone for AMC Lake Placid at 12:28pm on Monday July 9th. 10 members and 1 truck provided assistance for the lifeflight hospital to hospital transfer. This type of service usually takes about an hour..

Even at slow speed, a motorcycle falling over creates problems and that’s what happened to the operator of a motorcycle on main street Monday morning.. At 11:15 am, the operator of the motorcycle lost his balance and the cycle tipped over – assistance was provided by Lake Palcid’s ambulance and Lake Placid Police.

Plattsburgh Police and State Police suspect 33 year old Oneil Stephenson is the Individual who robbed the NBT Bank on Route 3 inPlattsburgh..  Stephensen also uses the name Philippe Francois.  Police describe Stephenson as a heavyset black man with tattoos on his right forearm, and more on his right shoulder and upper arms. Anyone with information about Stephenson’s whereabouts is asked to call State Police at 563-3761.

A Motorcycle accident in Tupper Lake sends riders to the hospital..  Tupper Lake’s Fire Department reports the accident at 8pm on July 8th..  Tupper Lake’s Police Department reports the couple riding on the motorcycle collided with a vehicle on Main Street..
