Saranac Lake High School Class of 1970

A new organization in Saranac Lake begins to recruit members and identifies their first objective. The Saranac Lake High School Parent Faculty Organization is lead by Leanne Baker who is the President of the new group and Brian Mann known by most as The Adirondack Bureau Chief for North Country Public Radio, but also a resident of the community. Brian is a volunteer and a member of the committee. The two join us on the K&J show today to discuss their initial goals..  After working with faculty and technology personel at the High School the group has identified a need for a mobile computer center.

The group has plans for a “Flip Flop Gala” on the 17th of August from 6pm to 9pm at the Mt Pisgah Lodge and continues to recruit members. Leanne says the group meets  monthly during the school year and  anyone interested in joining the organization can call her directly at 518-837-5060.
