Sewer Line Installation begins on Woodruff Street

Work begins today on the Woodruff Street Sewer Line inSaranacLake.. Community Development Director, Jeremy Evans says “Contractors will begin rehabilitation of the sewer line tomorrow morning and install about 1,100 feet of slip line into the existing sewer main that runs adjacent to theSaranacRiverbetweenChurch Streetand the Warehouse Coinwash property. The project will also include the installation of new laterals to several properties in the area.

The Woodruff St.bridge will be closed Tomorrow (on Friday, August 24th) and Monday, August 27th to through traffic. All businesses onWoodruff St. will be accessible from eitherBloomingdale Ave. orChurch St. The bridge will be reopened for the weekend.

Tomorrow Contractors will clean the sewer line with an extra day on Friday to complete the necessary inspections and repairs prior to the lining installation which is planned for Monday evening. Laterals will be installed on Tuesday.
