VILLAGE WELCOMES NEW BIOTECH FIRM
SARANAC LAKE, NY— Community Leaders and Local Legislators converge on Riverside Park yesterday afternoon. A ceremony to celebrate the opening of Myrad RBM in the former Village Offices on3 Main Street in Saranac Lake.. Governor Cuomos Office sends their congratulations through Cliff Donaldson who is representing the Governor in his absence.. The Mayor introduced a large contingent from Trudeau Institute, and also pointed to Joe Fernandez, president of Active Motiff, another biotech company planning to move into Saranac Lake by the end of the year.. Assemblywoman Theresa Sayward takes a tour of the building and we found her talking with a few local residents..
Myriad-RBM brings 24 employees to the downtown facility with plans to add additional jobs over the next 2-3 years.
The Evening’s Theme was “The Good Old Summer Time” and old fashioned ice cream and root beer. It was served during the event to the music of a string band by the Women’s Civic Chamber.
Everyone who Toured the new Myriad RBM facility, which is just finished a major renovation said there was a tremendous improvement from when it was simply the village offices.
