Timothy Carpenter is a Democratic Plattsburgh City Councilman and is one of three candidates vying for the Assembly seat in the newly re-drawn 115th district which covers Clinton and Franklin Counties and 4 towns in St Lawrence County. He is competing for the seat with Incumbent Republican Assemblywoman Janet Duprey who is seeking a 4th term in the assembly and Conservative Candidate Karen Bisso, a teacher in the Plattsburgh School district.
