K&J Interviews Jordanna Mallach – Homeward Bound Adirondacks

A New Homeward Bound Office Opens in Saranac Lake. Jordanna Mallach is Program Coordinator for Homeward Bound Adirondacks.  This new organization is reaching out to the community and you may see them at community events speaking about their work especially now that they’ve opened their new facility on Helen Hill and unless they’re out in the community, Mallach says the offices in The Prescott House will be open for interested parties to stop in and speak with them.

K&J – 112012 – Jordanna Mallach on Homeward Bound Adirondacks

Our conversation with Mallach during the K&J show is about Veterans, and about her experiences in the National Guard plus we’ll talk about what happens when veterans are dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or any Traumatic issue and the disconnects they face from those things that one would view to be important.  Recovery and healing in this case includes training to help those affected reach outside of themselves in a spiritual way to have meaning in their life and to be connected so that you can make a contribution even if you’re in need yourself. Homeward Bound Adirondacks is in Saranac Lake because of it’s history of healing and the atmosphere of the Adirondacks. Have a listen.
