Jason Smith joined us in the studio on Friday Morning for a discussion about Dewey Mountain, the Youth Ski League, Tuesday Night Races, new trails, new names, a new trail map, and many other aspects of Skiing and Snowshoeing at Dewey Mountain.
Dewey is a mountain you never outgrow. Whether you ski to the top on ungroomed backcountry-style trails and fly down a winding 440 feet of vertical drop, or if you prefer skate-skiing or night skiing on expertly groomed trails, Dewey Mountain offers variety, including beginner loops.
Snowshoers climb to the top on the East Side trail and enjoy the views of the Saranac Chain of Lakes before descending the West Side trail.
There are ~ 13 km of ski trail, 4 km snowshoe. Lower trails lighted at night.
