With 47 of 53 precincts reporting, Republican Assemblywoman Janet Duprey is the projected winner. The numbers are still coming in at 10:40pm this evening, but in Harrietstown, Duprey wins with 994 votes, Tim Carpenter, the Democratic Challenger receives 567 and Conservative Candidate Karen Bisso 287 votes. Overall with all but 11% of the votes reported to the Duprey campaign, in Clinton County the numbers are coming down in double digits for Duprey. She is winning in Clinton County with 11,386 votes to Carpenter’s 5,962 and Bisso receiving 6,662 votes. In Franklin, the numbers are similar, 1,953 for Duprey, 735 for Carpenter, and 500 for Bisso. WNBZ projects Assemblywoman Janet Duprey the winner in the 115th Assembly District in New York State.
Republican State Senator Betty Little is running unopposed in this election. She received 1,412 votes in the Town of Harrietstown.
