In Lake Placid, Brian Latella takes over as the new Elementary Principal… Dana Wood and Theresa Lindsay have both settled into their new positions in Lake Placid having come from the SaranacLakeSchool District and they’ve been wrestling with best practice theory for the student and parent handbook as well as for teachers and administrators while the Lake Placid school board considers supporting those best practices and turns them into policy… For this group, no major changes… in fact discussions are only in the early stages when it comes to producing recommendations for a policy on technology in the buildings..
