“Saranac Lake 6er” Program Seeks Brewery Partnership

The “Saranac Lake 6er” Program is in search of a new beer sponsor..  At Monday’s meeting, the board authorized Community Development Director Jeremy Evans to request proposals from breweries wishing to utilize the Saranac Lake 6er Trademark through an exclusive licensing agreement.. Mayor Clyde Rabideau says they would like to hear from local breweries as well as regional breweries.. “The program is funded entirely by license fees,” The Mayor Said, ” and we hope the local brewer will win the proposal”

The term of the license would run for three years.. As a starting point, the village is seeking a minimum bid of $1,000 along with the creation of a quality “Pale Ale” product to be associated with the the sixer logo and brand.. The RFP will remain open until November 1st..  Currently, Blue Line Brewery continues to market a Pale Ale under the Saranac Lake 6er moniker..
