Egglefield & Ford Donate $12,000 to Local Health

The staff at Adirondack Health certainly has a lot of drive. And Thanks to Egglefield Ford and Ford’s Drive 4 UR Community Event, $6,000 was raised to enhance patient and resident programs for Adirondack Health.

Egglefield Ford recently invited Adirondack Health staff to test drive one of four popular Ford models.  In return, Ford donated $20 for each test drive around the AdirondackMedicalCenter campus in SaranacLake.  Thanks to the strong turnout from community and staff, Adirondack Health raised the maximum limit of $6,000.

Egglefield Ford General Manager Corey Egglefield says “Twenty dollars doesn’t sound like much and not many of these events raise the maximum amounts but the audit is in and both AMC and Elizabethtown hospitals raised a total of $12,000 for the two organizations.

Hannah Hanford is Executive Director of the Adirondack Health Foundation, She says such a simple act was able to raise funds for the patients and residents of Adirondack Health, and that’s a testament to the generosity of the staff and the community.”
