Powerball Players Eyeing $400 Million Prize

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Tri-State residents with big dreams were sure to be checking their tickets Wednesday night, after the night’s $400 million Powerball drawing.

The winning numbers were 7, 10, 22, 32, 35, and Powerball 19.

The jackpot is the fifth largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

The latest big bonanza is fueled by changes Powerball made last year to boost jackpots, including hiking the price of a single ticket from $1 to $2. The odds of winning the jackpot are 175,223,510-to-1.

The winning numbers were drawn from a studio in Florida using machines made by a company in Edgewater Park, N.J.
