New Arhitectural Drawings for the Lake Flower Inn Project

Lake Flower Inn 03 - Chris on PoolThe Saranac Lake Planning Board Gets Their first look at an updated plan for the Lake Flower Inn on Wednesday evening… The Project’s Coordinator Chris Lebarge says they’ve taken a close look at some of the different historic hotels in the region and tried to pick out important design cues in the architecture.. Terence Fogarty owns the Marina Next to the planned Lake Flower Inn. His family also owns Mountain Mist on Lake Flower Avenue.. He says they’ve come up with a plan to supplement both properties. The plan includes a change from fencing on the property line to a sidewalk which will allow both properties to create a new, updated presentation on the waterfront which should benefit both businesses once complete. Fogarty says they forsee re-developing that portion of his property to make it more of a presentation piece as opposed to being allocated for the service department.

In November, Lake Flower Inn hopes to finalize the sketch plans and create a visualization study so that local agencies will be able to look closely at what the hotel may look like from several different points of view such as from the road or the boat launch..
