K&J – Walking “Out of the Darkness”

Every Fall, family members, friends and colleagues walk together in hundreds of communities across the nation to raise awareness and end the stigma surrounding depression and other mental disorders which could lead to suicide… In Lake Placid, It was the fifth Out of The Darkness Community Walk.. The event is sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention… When we arrived, participants were still checking in and we found ourselves under the registration tent.. and the K&J show continues from there with interviews of teams, family members, and a presentation on stage from Lake Placid Mayor Craig Randall.
