Work Set to Begin on Lake Flower Avenue Nov 4th

Saranac Lake Village Manager John Sweeney says the village is coordinating with the Department of Transportation and the storm drain work on Lake Flower Avenue is set to begin on Monday, November 4th. If all goes well he says, they’ll be able to focus on both ends of the road, working on one location at a time to repair the drainage system which has caused flooding on the road surface even in the lightest of rain. The plans for a complete – interim repair of Lake Flower Avenue are designed to avoid the busiest parts of the summer and with the storm drain work completed by Thanksgiving, Sweeney says the next step will be to focus on the Sidewalks on Lake Flower Avenue in the Spring along with some preliminary patching and then hold off on paving until after Labor Day
