The benefit will be attended by more than 500 people with all of the proceeds benefiting children’s programming at the LPCA. “The Joy to the Children Benefit, has been the cornerstone of all of the LPCA Children’s programs for the last 25 years. Lisa Weibrecht started this fundraiser to specifically bring more cultural opportunities to the youth in our area. Now, the Benefit not only supports all of the LPCA arts outreach programs for youth, but has enabled LPCA to build a stronger base of additional supporters and foundations who share the Weibrecht’s commitment to the youth of our region.” The overwhelming success of Joy to the Children over the years is testimony to the community’s desire for, and awareness of, the importance for arts for children.
