K&J – Robert Lewis Stevenson’s Songs of Travel

As part of First Night we found ourselves in many different venues but we’ve decided to feature a presentation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Songs of Travel.. it’s Sung by Dr George Spicer Cook at the John Black Room at the Original Saranac Laboratory of Dr Edward Livingston Trudeau, and now home to Historic Saranac Lake… The Music of the Ad Hoc Quartet just sings off of the oval ceiling for the audience of about 100 which really fills the room to it’s capacity with standing room only along the bookshelves… The Quartet features Elaine Dewar, and Susan Berkowitz on the Violin, and Dorit Gaedtke on Violia with Brian Donat on Cello…
