The Band Foreigner is playing to a sold out crowd at the Flynn Center in Burlington February 16th but one High School Chorus will have the opportunity to sing with the band… live on stage…  When the Voting ended at 4pm earlier today Plattsburgh High’s Select Vocal Ensemble was in the lead over Essex high School’s Chamber Choir… Bill Verity is the director of the Plattsburgh High School Select Vocal Ensemble..  Verity and the Plattsburgh High School Select Ensemble took to some time to meet with us on their day off Thursday afternoon in the High School Auditorium…   We’re talking here on the K&J show today with students in the Select Ensemble and Bill Verity who is their director about the music program at PHS and also about their entry into the Foreigner contest…

At 4pm this afternoon the Plattsburgh High School Vocal Ensemble was in the lead according to the poll count… which means unless something changes, they’re the winners of the contest and will sing with Foreigner on Stage at the Flynn Theater on February 16th…
