Tupper Lake Chamber – First Annual Winter Social

Chamber-announcementPrintNorth Country Chamber of Commerce President Gary Douglas is the featured speaker tonight at The Tupper Lake Chamber of Commerce First Annual Winter Social…  highlighting the position and importance of a Chamber of Commerce for a community as well as how Tupper Lake ties into the North Country Chamber of Commerce.

The Newly Elected Tupper Lake Chamber President, Adam Boudreau will follow with a presentation outlining the Chamber’s 2014 events and initiatives. Boudreau is also expected to provide insight to the destination marketing and planning discussions that have been highlighted on the K&J show here on WNBZ and at local Town and Village Board meetings over the past few weeks.

Tupper Lake Events Coordinator Michelle Clement says “The Tupper Lake Chamber of Commerce has devoted the better part of the past six months reflecting on the past, reorganizing and planning for the future.” And she continues by saying “ Like any project, the plan is still a work in progress, but a lot of progress has been made.”

The event is being held at the Wild Center in Tupper lake and opens at 6:30 with an informal opportunity to meet with the board of directors and then formal presentations at 7pm..
