Athletic Director Mark Farmer has been selected to receive the New York State Athletics Administrators Association Apple Appreciation Award for Section VII. He was Honored on March 14th at the AAA Conference in Saratoga Springs. Individuals are selected for the award based on their service to the schools and communities in the areas of physical education or athletics, as well as contributions to the success of the association- specifically at the grassroots level- within respective leagues and chapters. The award seeks to recognize loyal members who continuously volunteer and dedicate their time to make the association, which is the central cornerstone to professional development of athletic administration in New York State, better and more productive. Mr. Farmer was previously recognized in 2012 as the Athletic Director of the Year from Section VII. He has been involved in Athletics at Saranac Lake for 28 years serving both as a coach and most recently as Athletic Director.
