Could Part of Downtown be Closed to Vehicles?

Is there an area in Downtown Plattsburgh that could be closed off for pedestrian foot traffic only.. That’s the question proposed for consideration by City Councilman Josh Kretzer.. “There is support from the Chamber and the Development Corporation who have both offered to be part of the process,” Krestser tells the CIty Council, and he continued by saying they want to see if the concept is something that could be sustained..”I don’t necessarily have a plan, but I do have ideas. Many people have come up to me and and forwarded messages in support of the idea, and others have given him things to think about as far as ideas.”
