Heroine Arrest In Plattsburgh

On Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 Plattsburgh Police received a tip alleging heroin was being sold from a
residence on Cornelia Street in the vicinity of Montcalm Avenue in the City of Plattsburgh.
Plattsburgh Police Detectives began investigating. By yesterday, Detectives had developed probable
cause to believe that heroin was being sold from 113 Cornelia Street, Apartment B. A search warrant
was issued by Plattsburgh City Court Judge Mark Rogers and was executed at about 4:30PM. Part of
Cornelia Street was closed by police during the entry.
Detectives seized 17 bags of heroin, cash and other evidence with the assistance from Border Patrol
K-9 and members of the Adirondack Drug Task Force. Arrested was CORNELIUS D. WESTON,
23yrs of Utica, NY. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree
(Possession with intent to sell) a Class B Felony. He was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court this
morning and remanded to the Clinton County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
