Karen Bisso, candidate for New York State Assembly in the 115th District, has received the endorsement of the St. Lawrence County Conservative Party. Bisso has been teaching for 28 years in the Plattsburgh City School District and she says she has also received the endorsement of the Franklin County Conservatives for the primary runoff… Bisso says there are several major issues which she sees separating her from Assemblywoman Janet Duprey.. We’ve spoken recently on the K&J show with Assemblywoman Janet Duprey and will invite her comments on the primary when she returns from Albany.. In the meantime, you can find a copy of our conversation online at WNBZ.com..
Bisso says Duprey has been outspoken against The Common Core and New York’s SAFE Act and is actively working throughout the state for the full repeal of both. Additionally, Karen has been a guest speaker at many anti-SAFE Act rallies all over New YorkState and helped organize and present at Plattsburgh’s Anti-Safe Act Rally in August which featured Sheriff Mack of Arizona. She is an avid supporter of motorized recreation, has ridden with clubs throughout the NorthCounty, understands their concerns and is prepared to represent them. Karen is also a small business owner who brings experience in both the public and private sectors.
After notification of the committee’s unanimous endorsement Bisso said, “Thank you to Chairman Ford and the entire committee. We worked hard to gain the most votes on the Conservative line in the entire state of New York in an Assembly race in 2012. I take seriously the job to listen and carry the message of the North Country TO Albany and represent YOUR concerns and issues. I will work hard to deliver exemplary constituent services and am honored to represent the North Country.”
