Reporters Chris Knight and Lou Reuter are back from Sochi Russia..  Enterprise Senior Staff Writer Chris Knight and Senior Sports Writer Lou Reuter gave a slide show presentation at Monday night’s village board meeting on their trip last month to Sochi, Russia to cover the local athletes who competed in the Winter Olympics.  Both Lou and Chris agreed that one of their favorite Pictures was a picture of Annelies Cook which Chris took during the team competition.. That picture has been featured in both the Lake Placid News and the Adirondack Daily Enterprise along with many of the other pictures… One of the first in their slide show was The View from their hotel room which really sets the scene outside, but maybe not inside the hotels, they weren’t quite ready, but by the time a week had gone by, the hotel staff had settled in and things were operating smoothly.. Reuter told the board one of the highlights of the trip for him was the opening ceremonies.. He also acknowledged coverage of the hockey games as a big part of his experience at the games.

Lou was also reporting for the New York Press Association.. He says he took about 10,000 pictures in Shoci, and papers across the state were taking quotes and stories from his feed through the enterprise online portal..

Local Olympic athletes will line up to parade down Main Street in Saranac Lake Tomorrow starting at about 3:15 and the parade will conclude at the Harrietstown Town Hall where they’ll meet with the public and talk about their experiences.. Lowell Bailey and Tim Burke are expected to take part in the Saranac Lake’s Olympian parade, In addition, Annelies Cook Bill Demong and Peter Frenette are also scheduled to attend.
