The Saranac Lake regional Olympic Athlete Parade is the books and the theme for the day was the pride shared between community and the athletes. The first stop was Saranac Lake High School with a 430 student packed auditorium where the athletes had a question and answer session. Two Seniors Austin Eckert and Kevin Dougay were elected by High School Principal Josh Dann to present their questions to the athletes.

At the Town Hall, Five-time Olympian Bill Demong assures everyone the only secret of Saranac Lake producing so many Olympic athletes is the strong support system within the community.
First time Olympian, Annelies Cook says she has never had trouble believing she would make it to the Olympics…..
One of her fondest memories of her time in Sochi, Cook says, was being able to accidentally spend some quality time with her parents…..
