The West Side Ballroom (253 New York Road) is the location of the next CVPH Community Lecture, “Decision Making As An Older Adult With Diabetes” planned for Wednesday, May 21. The guest speaker is Julie Bynum, MD, MPH of DartmouthHitchcockMedicalCenter. Registration and light refreshments begin at 5:30 p.m. and Dr. Bynum’s program at 6.
Dr. Bynum will discuss the unique and sometimes complex decisions older adults with diabetes must confront in managing their disease. This free program is hosted by the EXPLORE Diabetes Committee and supported by the Foundation of CVPH.
Dr. Bynum earned her medical degree from John Hopkins School of Medicine. She specializes in geriatric and internal medicine and is a staff physician at Dartmouth- Hitchcock Medical Center. Her major research interest is effectiveness and efficiency of health care delivery to elderly populations.
The EXPLORE (Experience & Professional Learning Opportunities Result in Excellence) Diabetes Committee is part of the EXPLORE Consortium, established to enhance educational opportunities for health care professionals in the region.
