New Programs for Plattsburgh Recreation

The Town of Plattsburgh Parks & Recreation Department is sponsoring two new programs this summer.

First the Recreation Department says they’ll be hosting Soccer Skills Nights on June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, & July 7 from 6-7 PM at the May Currier Park.  Refine foot skills or learn new moves this summer.  Participants will also play 3V3 games each week.  If you can’t get enough of soccer then you will want to be at our Skills Nights.  participants can join in on one or all sessions and register each night of attendance

Second, the Recreation Department will be hosting Archery for Adults & Teens at Treadwells Mills Park (1403 Military Turnpike) on June 4, 11, 18 & 25 from 6-7 PM.  Jim Agnew and Brandon Bessette-Agnew will be leading the program. All abilities are welcome to improve their archery skills including aim, stance, and strength.  Open to anyone 14+.

For more information on either, call the Recreation Department at 562-6860.  Both programs are free to attend.
