Tail Of the Pup Gets North ELba Permit for Live Music

There’s one sure sign of Spring in the Adirondacks and that’s when the Tail of the Pup Receives it’s Outdoor Music Permit for the summer..  Money is definitely a motivator when it comes to keeping the bands inline on the outdoor stage and the Permit for the Tail of the Pup let’s them go until 9:30pm with live music on their stage..  From May 17 Through Mid June, the permit allows for weekends only and then through the summer months, Tail of the Pup can have live music through 9:30pm each night.  Tail of the Pup Owner Eddie Yankitis says one of his neighbors was upset in years past which is why the board came up with a Sunrise to Sunset Policy for outdoor music in the town. But that’s not quite enough for the Tail of the Pup with visitors and others regularly keeping the restaurant busy past sunset. As permit’s go, this is a fairly routine ritual  and Needless to say, it also marks the passage into spring for Ray Brook… The Tail of the Pup is open and ready to go for the season..
