Get ready for this year’s “Concerts on the Bluff” music series – back for its 40th year, and featuring some of the area’s favorite bands and musicians.
The 40th annual concert series kicks-off July 9th with incaHOOTS, featuring John Geno, Peter Grosskopf, Neil Wright, John Seiden, and David Long.
On Wednesday, July 30th, Towne Meeting will make their appearance. This 5-member Plattsburgh-based band features powerful vocal harmonies, with musical roots in folk, country and acoustic rock.
Adirondack Folk Singer, Roy Hurd is back again this year, taking the stage on Wednesday, August 7th. Hurd has performed several times during Concerts on the Bluff drawing fans from all over the tri-county area.
Rick and the All-Star Ramblers Western Swing Band will wrap up this year’s Concerts on the Bluff series on August 13th; always a rock’n good time!
Concerts are free and open to the public, held on the lawn behind the Forrence Center (Gymnasium) on campus. They begin at 6:00 p.m. rain or shine and run for approximately 2 hours. The rain location is inside the Stafford Center’s theatre. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the show. Please note that no alcoholic beverages are allowed at the event.
