K&J – Discussing Palliative Care and Other “Nick Nacks”

Today on the K&J show we’re talking about starting a conversation with loved ones about end of life planning. Hospice Medical Director George Cook begins the conversation and in the studio with us AMC’s Chief Nursing Officer, Linda McClarigan. David Mader is Chief Patient Care Director of Oncology and Palliative Care at AMC in Saranac Lake and also in the studio, Nurse Practitioner Marijke Ormell-Cook. “Our Conversation today,” Cook says, during the program, “Is in fact already palliative care because we’re having this conversation with the public and that in itself helps to spark conversations about end of life.”
