Lake Flower Water Levels Remain Low

Infrastructure Replacement will not be completed today as previously reported due to current rain conditions.  Currently remaining JE Sheehan Construction has approximately 150’ of sanitary sewer pipe to be installed, which should be completed, weather depending by June 19th.  The Current Water Level at Lake Flower Dam is 13.3” below spillway. As of Friday, June 13th, the Village has begun to raise water levels in Lake Flower. The Village anticipates a 5” increase by Monday June 16th and will continue to slowly raise lake levels.

Road reconstruction will begin immediately after infrastructure is completed the week of June 16th  with completion of the road prior to June 27th..  At this time the village is continuing to request NYSDEC to hold water at the Lower Locks. Village Manager John Sweeney says once infrastructure is completed they will request release of water from the Lower locks.
