There are a few spots remaining in both the company and community divisions of The 11th Annual “Play to Give” Co Ed Softball Tournament. The double elimination tournament takes place Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24 at the American Legion Post 1619, West Plattsburgh. All proceeds of the event benefit the FitzPatrick Cancer Center.
The entry fee for each team is $125. There are two divisions, company and community. The deadline to register is 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19. Company division teams must have a minimum of 5 players on the field that work at the same company. All teams are required to have at least two females on the field at all times.
The two-day event will feature lots of family fun. Music, raffles, good food, beverages and a kid friendly scavenger hunt will be featured. Of course, there will be two days of exciting softball.
