DEC Plans to Extend Lows Lake Float Plane Access   The Department of Environmental Conservation is asking the Adirondack Park Agency to sign off on a permit system that would allow float planes to continue to fly into Lows Lake.  The proposal, which was announced in May, postpones a ban on float plane access to the lake that was set to take effect this year.  (click here for the full story)
