School Officials “Elated” Capital Project is Nearly Over   With a $2.58 million settlement soon to be in hand and remediation work at the high school scheduled to wrap up by mid-September, Saranac Lake School officials say they’ll finally be able to put the district’s problem-plagued capital project behind them. “The capital project of 1997 will be concluded in about three weeks,” said Superintendent Gerry Goldman at a Thursday morning press conference.
