APA Hears Latest Lows Lake Float Plane Access Proposal   The controversial issue of float plane access to Lows Lake was back on the Adirondack Park Agency’s agenda Thursday.  Last fall, the APA board narrowly rejected a plan from the DEC to allow float planes to continue to land on the lake for another 10 years under a tightly-regulated permit system. Now DEC and APA officials have developed what they described Thursday as a compromise – a four-year phase out.  (Click here for the story)
