Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has
finished her tour of all 62 counties in New York state.
On Friday, Gillibrand visited
Sullivan, Tioga and Washington counties, officials capping a tour of
the state that began after she was appointed to fill the unexpired
term of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton last January.
During her final stops last week,
Gillibrand spoke to constituents about economic development.
Gillibrand’s tour wasn’t exactly
precedent-setting, though. Her colleague, New York’s senior U.S.
Senator and fellow Democrat Charles Schumer, visits every county in
the state each year.
Gillibrand is seeking election to her
seat this fall.
