Lake Placid Nursing Home
Fined $75,000
A nursing home in Lake Placid has paid a $75,000 fine for a
series of violations that date to the summer of 2008.
The civil penalty against Adirondack Medical Center-Uihlein
stems from a Medicare survey that found more than 20
violations, including nine that “constituted immediate
jeopardy to resident health and safety.”
