State Police in Ray Brook arrested a Lake
Placid man on Tuesday for allegedly violating a court order of
protection. 18 year-old Matthew A. Sears allegedly left two
voicemail messages with the protected person. He was charged with
two counts of second-degree criminal contempt. Sears was processed,
arraigned in Town of North Elba Court and released of his own
recognizance to appear in court at a later date.
