Town Asked to Create Speed Limit for Boats in Ampersand Bay  A group of Lower Saranac Lake property owners are asking the Town of Harrietstown to support a five mile per hour speed limit in part of Ampersand Bay.  Robert Hammond, president of the Lower Saranac Lake Association,  asked the town board to approve the creation of a “vessel regulation zone” that would apply to boats using a 34 acre portion of Ampersand Bay.  (Click here for the story)
