Obama Wins Area Counties;
Supporters Celebrate
Barack Obama was the favored
candidate for president in Essex, Franklin and Clinton
Counties on Tuesday. Obama supporters were celebrating late
last night at an event at Bluseed Studios in Saranac Lake.
Lisa Meissner said she was very happy with the results,
calling Obama’s victory inspiring. “I think he’s a person
that unites,” she said.
