Nature Conservancy Outlines Plans for Follensby Purchase  The head of the Adirondack Chapter of the Nature Conservancy fielded questions from the public Wednesday about the conservation group’s recent purchase of the 14,000-acre Follensby Pond tract in the Towns of Harrietstown and Tupper Lake.  Mike Carr said the property will be sold to the state, but it may take several years, largely because the conservancy is in the middle of a transaction involving 161,000 acres of former Finch Pruyn timber company lands.  (click here for more)
