Pottery ClassesAdult Beginner Pottery Class (age 15 & up)

Tuesdays, 10/9 – 12/4 (no class on 11/21) 6-8pm
Cost: $200.00 includes all material and firing; studio access

Artist Joanna Merry will guide the beginner potter though the basic maneuvers of creating a piece of pottery on the wheel. Hand Building skills are also introduced as well as glazing and glazing techniques. Through demonstrations and planned projects, the student is able to accomplish goals and gain the necessary confidence needed to finish a pot on your own! This class is designed for the beginner but for those who have some wheel experience this is the perfect refresher course!

Adult Intermediate Pottery Class

8 weeks: Wednesdays 10/10 –12/6 (no class on 11/20) 6-9 pm
Cost 250.00 includes all materials, firing, studio access

Instructor Mary Lou Reid will demonstrate and assign weekly projects to develop intermediate skills, focusing on design and function of a well made pot.  Not for beginner students, must have basic wheel experience.
