The Lake Placid Public Library will be offering two classes for people new to computers this month. “Computer Basics for Beginners” will be given at the library from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, October 11. Intro to the Internet and E-mail, will be offered also on October 11, at the library from 1 to 4 p.m. These sessions are recommended for beginners and those who are uncertain of their skills. Both classes are free and limited to six participants. Call 523.3200 to enroll.
