This annual benefit raises funds to help support over 100 free children’s workshops and some 100 individual programs reaching over 35,000 individuals throughout our region. Funds from the benefit help to support several programs including: The Weibrecht ~ For Schools Only Series, which allows schools to bring their students to top quality performances in theatre, music and dance for a minimal cost; The free Young and Fun Arts Series, offered throughout the summer season on Wednesday mornings featuring a wide variety of kids entertainment; The High Peaks Art Shows which highlight student artwork in a series of age specific exhibitions; Arts Career Day allowing perspective art students to visit with college representatives and have their portfolios reviewed; over 80 Free Afterschool Workshops offered in a variety of mediums at two different times throughout the year; Missoula Children’s Theatre and CAMP LPCA summer programs, and the popular LPCA Children’s Musical Theatre program offered every fall for our aspiring actors. Also included in this list is a host of school and community arts programs designed to expose, enrich and excite young people with the arts. Students and schools from a multi-county region are able to participate in an impressive number of activities.
