North Elba Officials Support Hotel Projects

Hotel Saranac - August 2013

The Town of North Elba gives its support to the Lake Flower Avenue Hotel Project… There are Three Motels on Lake Flower Avenue which own waterfront on LakeFlower and PontiacBay, if the project can continue to move forward, they will be torn down in favor of one new 6 story hotel in the architectural style of the old Riverside Hotel in SaranacLake..

New April Testing Results Announced

New York State’s Board of Education has just released the first round of testing scores.. The change in the testing procedures has garnered a lower average score than from previous years But Saranac Lake’s District Superintendent Diane Fox says they’re going to continue to gather the numbers and to develop an overall view of what the new scores mean relative to other schools..
