The date is set.. The public is officially invited to a public hearing on Tuesday, May 28th, 5:30pm for a presentation of the Draft Comprehensive Plan for the village of Saranac Lake.. Trustee Ally Pellitiere says the draft is available at the village offices and also online at the village’s website..  The late date in May will allow an appropriate amount of time for the community to review the specifics, and perhaps focus on the portions of the plan that affect each particular district.. In addition, the Essex County Planning Board requires a 30 day window for review.
