AMBASSADORS REPORT “ALL ON BOARD!”

If you’ve ever been on vacation, and perhaps somewhere that you’re not as familiar with as you might be with your own hometown, you may be able to relate to Gail Brill, who speaks to SaranacLake’s Village Board about being a Saranac Lake Ambassador..  Brill has been “On Duty twice over the holiday week” and shared some of those duties with the Village’s Mayor who also volunteered as an Adirondack Ambassador during Saturday’s 11:45 trip…  Rabideau says he wanted to reach out to more people but it’s hard to make that initial contact…   The Mayor says one idea to expand on the concept of getting people downtown could include local stores and restaurants providing discount incentives that Ambassadors could hand out.. The general consensus – People need to know where to go and the solution… more signs pointing people downtown.. maybe even footprints on the sidewalk…
