The Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program is sponsoring “Invasive Species Awareness Week” to help promote awareness and highlight the threats of invasive species in New York State. Groups in Keene Valley are sponsoring fun and ecducational activities to help build awareness and we took the opportunity to speak with Lake Placid’s Mayor Craig Randall about projects which have been undertaken by the Village of Lake Placid in recent years, along with ongoing projects to protect the community from invasive and unwanted plants and bugs.
