This Spring marks the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the Revolutionary Wear and the patriots’ capture of Fort Ticonderoga led by Benedict Arnold. During he following year, Arnold played a crucial role in the defense of Lake Champlain and the Battle of Valcour Island and Kelly’s book details the often-neglected heroism of the man who would later become America’s most notorious traitor.
